WALKING ON THIN ICE

Now almost into the 2nd week of January and still no snowfall in south Perthshire; normally by the turn of the year we can expect a fair bit of the white stuff to give a picturesque covering to the otherwise stark landscape. Whilst driving to Perth one day, I spotted some attractive reflections of trees in a flooded field; I returned the following morning but the reflections were gone, so I turned my attention instead to photographing Mother Nature’s ice designs.
