I’m not really into nature photography (other than trees, of course) however on passing the public park I couldn’t help but notice a mass of white blossom on one of the bushes. On closer examination I found that while some of the blossom was past its best and discoloured, many of the healthier petals were still soft and silky smooth; worthy of photography perhaps? And so I returned the very next morning under a light drizzle of rain to capture these images.
Presenting the photographs in toned monochrome has brought to life my pre-visualised artistic intent; in other words, I’m pretty chuffed that they have turned out the way I intended.
